Hedgerow - Handmade Journal

I'm so excited to share these handmade journals with you, which I slowly make in small batches with repurposed covers from antique books. Each one is unique, featuring different cover designs, stitch patterns, and materials.

This journal features a thicket of swirling tendrils and flowers against a delicate pale blue, accented with gold flourishes. The journal is sewn with natural linen thread and two reclaimed leather “tapes” as well as a portion of the original spine for added support and durability. The inside covers are lined with beautiful handmade Lokta paper.

Filled with 72 pages of 80 lb Strathmore recycled drawing paper, hand-cut for a lightly deckled edge. It's a very nice weight, soft white, and acid free - perfect for writing, drawing, and possibly light watercolor washes. The flexible binding allows the book to open completely flat.

Measures 4 1/8” x 6 3/8”.

I hope you'll create something you can treasure!
