Gold Dust - Handmade Journal
I'm so excited to share these handmade journals with you, which I slowly make in small batches with repurposed covers from antique books. Each one is unique, featuring different cover designs, stitch patterns, and materials.
This journal features a beautiful Nouveau cover with gilded swirls of branching roses. The journal is sewn by hand with natural linen thread, and bound with repurposed leather. The covers are lined with Khadi paper.
Filled with 72 sheets (144 pages) of 80 lb Strathmore recycled drawing paper, hand-cut for a lightly deckled edge. It's a very nice weight, soft white, and acid free - perfect for writing, drawing, and possibly light watercolor washes. The flexible binding allows the book to open completely flat.
Measures 6 1/2” x 4 1/8”.
I hope you'll create something you can treasure!
