Dreamy c.1900 Philip’s Planisphere, “Showing the Principal Stars Visible for Every Hour in the Year,” published by George Philip and Son Ltd., London. The embossed leather planisphere is comprised of two rotating disks that can be adjusted to show the stars for any time and date, as seen from the latitude of London, 51° 30’N. Instructions for use on the back.

Overall good condition; the embossed leather is rubbed/faded in places with mild edge wear and light staining on the back. The disc featuring the heavens is clean and bright with very light edge wear.
