Half-Mourning - Handmade Coptic Sketchbook
Half-Mourning - Black, thorny roses against a sky of gloomy gray, with end papers of soft lavender, inspired by Victorian mourning traditions.
I've recently become completely obsessed with bookbinding, and I'm so excited to share this small collection of handmade sketchbooks made with antique re-purposed covers - each one features a botanical-inspired Art Nouveau design.
This particular journal/sketchbook is bound with natural waxed linen, with dreamy handmade marbled end papers and 72 pages of individually hand-torn, 90 lb drawing paper. The coptic binding allows the book to lay completely flat.
Perfect for writing, drawing and possibly light watercolor. I hope you'll create something you can treasure.
Measures 7 3/8" x 4 7/8".
